AI Credit Terms

1. What AI Credits Are

AI credits ("credits") let you keep using Grassy's AI features, such as Grassy AI (the AI Caddie), after you reach the AI limit included with your monthly plan. Any signed-in Grassy user can buy credits, whether they are on a free or paid plan.

2. Buying Credits Through the App Store

• Credits are sold in the Grassy iOS app as in-app purchases through Apple's App Store.
• Apple processes your payment. Grassy does not receive or store your payment card details.
• The price of each credit pack is shown in the app before you buy, as provided by the App Store in your local currency.
• Your purchase is also subject to Apple's terms and policies for App Store purchases.

3. When Credits Are Used

• Credits are used only after you reach the AI limit included with your monthly plan. Until then, your AI use comes from your plan, not your credits.
• Credits are used only while Use credits is turned on. You can turn it on or off at any time in the app. If it is off, your AI features stop when you reach your plan limit, and your credits stay in your balance.
• If you have credits from more than one purchase, the oldest purchase is used first.

4. Optional Monthly Credit Limit

You can set an optional monthly credit limit in the app. Once you have used that many credits in a calendar month, no more credits are used until the next month, even if you have credits left. You can change or remove the limit at any time.

5. How Many Credits a Request Uses

Credits are consumed based on the AI work performed for each request. The number of credits a request uses varies, for example with the feature you use, the length and complexity of the request and response, and the files or images involved. We cannot tell you in advance exactly how many credits a request will use.

6. Credits Never Expire

Credits you buy do not expire. They stay in your balance until they are used or removed as described in these terms.

7. No Cash Value, No Transfers

• Credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.
• Credits are tied to your Grassy account and cannot be transferred, sold, or gifted to another account.
• Personal credits are separate from Team AI credits. Personal credits cannot be used for Team AI, Team AI credits cannot be used for your personal AI use, and the two cannot be exchanged or combined.

8. Refunds

• AI credits are non-refundable and have no cash value, except where required by law or by the policies of the platform through which you bought them.
• Purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's refund policies. Refund requests for these purchases must be made to Apple, for example at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides whether to grant a refund.
• If a purchase is refunded or reversed, the unused credits from that purchase are removed from your balance.

9. Account Deletion

If you delete your Grassy account, any credits remaining in your balance are removed and cannot be restored.

10. Changes to Packs and Pricing

We may change the credit packs we offer, including the number of credits in a pack and its price, for future purchases. These changes do not affect credits you have already bought.

11. Abuse and Fraud

We may remove credits, or restrict your ability to buy or use them, if we reasonably believe they were obtained or used through fraud, abuse, or a violation of our Terms of Service, including misuse of purchases, refunds, or accounts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these AI Credit Terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the app.
