I love golf. Not for what I shoot, but for the places I get to go and the people I get to meet. There's something special about discovering a new course, seeing it for the first time from the first tee, and sharing those moments with friends.
Like most golfers, I kept a list of courses I wanted to play—partly in my notes app, partly just in my head. But that list grew messy. I'd forget which courses I loved, which ones weren't worth the green fee, and which ones friends had recommended.
"I wanted a simple way to track where I've played, share my favorites with friends, and discover courses that matched my taste."
So I built Grassy.
The idea is simple: rate courses you've played, follow friends to see where they're playing, and get recommendations based on your actual preferences—not generic reviews from strangers.
Every golfer has different tastes. Some love links-style courses. Others want pristine conditions and country club vibes. Some just want an affordable track to walk on a Tuesday evening. Grassy learns what you like and helps you find more of it.
